Tax Commission

It was established by the Tribal Council of the Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians that the Tax Commission shall exist for the purpose of implementing and enforcing the provisions of the Tax Ordinance. The commission shall perform such duties as are expressed or implied in the Tax Ordinance, including the setting of tax rates, collecting taxes, enforcing tribal tax laws and other functions and duties as the Tribal Council may delegate.
